I remembered my camera today. Here are some pictures from Easter. JR, Andrew, and I went to my Dad's house. Andrew got to hunt for Easter eggs. There was lots of yummy food and candy. It was a great Easter!

So, this year my Dad and Stepmom are having an Easter egg hunt in their front yard for their church. We are taking Andrew and maybe Andrews Mom and little Sister. Paging Dr. Kirby, Chicken George, and the faaaabulous Marcellas Reynolds! EW has learned that CBS will air an all-star version of Big Brother when it returns for a seventh season this summer. In the current issue of EW, we say who we'd like to see back in the hot tub this summer, but for the first time ever fans will get to choose who participates in the game from a pool of 20 former houseguests (BB6's Kaysar Ridha, stay by your phone!). CBS has yet to announce how or when voting will occur.
So far, the basic rules will remain unchanged for the all-star version: One by one, the houseguests will vote each other out of the house and at the end of three months, the last remaining houseguest will receive $500,000. And yes, Julie Chen will return as host.

We have been trying to figure out what Andrew can do this summer. Yesterday when we dropped him off at his Mom's work; we decided to get some info at The Little Gym (you know the one where Kat works). It is in the same shopping center as Susan's office. They have a summer program three days a week and there is a different theme each week. It is really inexpensive, too. I think we are going to try that three days a week and CLS two days. I think he will really love it.

Jr wants to buy one of those sit up benches. I feel like it is going to be a waste of money. What do you guys think? Is buying exercise equipment ever a good idea?

Sorry I haven't been posting lately. Things have been very hectic. Andrew's mother was not feeling well and we had him for about a week. Also, my computer was broken at work for longer than that. Ok, enough excuses. I'm here now. This weekend was fun but not long enough. Saturday I hung out at The Rose with Kat, Karl, Audra, and Matt. It was fun and laid back. Then Sunday my brother, his friend Glenn, Jr, and I went to the races. After food and betting we were down $3. I thought that was pretty good. We had a blast!

I don't have anything to blog about today. So, I thought I would take this opportunity to introduce you to our cat, Jake. He is a fat cat. You can see why. He is always sleeping.

I can't believe I didn't get any pictures from Friday night. I met up with Elizabeth, Virginia, Katie, Matt, and Annie at The Fountain for St. Patty's day. It was pretty low key and I didn't stay out too late. I did manage to get pictures of the flowers JR got me, though. My little brothers came in town this weekend. I took them to The Rose Saturday night. They kept me company even though they aren't old enough to drink yet. That was my weekend. It was cold and nasty outside so I stayed in the rest of the time.

I have no plans this weekend. JR is still pretty week and I'm not sure his kidneys are ready for Irish Whiskey and green beer. My two little brothers are coming in town tonight. They never tell me what they have planned. Kat and Karl are abandoning us Little Rockians this year. So sad. Have fun in Tulsa guys. That's pretty much it. Whatever we do I will take lots of pics for the blog since I have been slacking lately. Have a fun weekend everyone.

Well the stone is finally out of JR. He is still pretty sore and weak. Thanks again everybody.

This weekend was pretty lazy. Friday night JR and I went to Cajun's Wharf for a drink. Saturday night Leah and Kat joined me at the Rose. Sunday JR and I bought a wooden chest for our blanket storage/coffee table. Then at 5:45 Monday morning JR woke me up. He had horrible pain in his lower back on the left side. I rushed him to the emergency room. It turns out he had a kidney stone. They gave him a prescription for the pain and we went home to wait. Yesterday was pretty exhausting and seemed as if it would never end. He wanted me to be sure and tell everyone thank you for their concern and phone calls. He is better today, although pretty sore. We are still waiting for the stone but the worst has passed. I'll let you know if there are any changes.

Happy Friday everyone! Jr and I are both off work tonight. We have to do something but have no ideas. Any suggestions? Saturday night he is working and I will be at The Rose, where my friends will hopefully be joining me. Sunday we were thinking about going to Oaklawn. That is all. I am boring today. Did anyone know that today is International Women's Day? I just found out. I couldn't find any events for it here, but there seem to be quite a few in the bigger cities. Anyway, just wanted to say Happy International Women's Day!

This is going to be a great week for reality tv.
The Project Runway finale and the America's Next Top Model Premier are on the same night!


Then, of course, we also have Survivor and The Amazing Race. I can do without American Idol. I believe it is on just about every night for those of you that watch it.

So, JR got text messaging when he got his new phone. I have always been against it because it costs extra and why not just call the person. He begged me to get it added to my plan. He said "If you get we can talk to each other all day!" How could I say no? So I have added it and I am secretly loving it. Dont' tell JR.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Andrew's mom and step-dad are going through a divorce right now. Susan, Jr, and I are all trying to make sure Andrew isn't scarred for life. It was rocky at first but we are learning as we go along. I think we have figured it out. All three of us came from divorced families. Let me tell you, it is really strange and scary to be seeing it from the adult's point of view.

So, this weekend we had Jr's four year old son Andrew. We got Elmo in Grouchland for sale at Wal-Mart on Saturday night. It is pretty cute. It is almost as good as Follow that Bird. The best part is that the bad guy is that guy from The Princess Bride. You know the one that says "Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father: prepare to die."


We also had a heated debate all weekend. Andrew is really into Power Rangers right now. You know how little boys pick a character to be and act out things they do? Well, Andrew is in that phase. He was getting annoyed with me because I kept picking rangers that were boys. He said I couldn't do that. Then it turned into a debate on whether or not there are girl colors and boy colors. Good times.

So JR, Andrew, and I are going to see this movie tonight. I guess it was JR's favorite book character when he was little. Andrew and he are very excited. I think it is going to be very cheesy. What do you think? I'll let you know how it goes.

Ok, So last night Jr and I went shopping for a dining set. We went to this awesome place called Cost Plus. Have you heard of it? They have a huge showroom and everything is really cheap. We didn't find a dining room set, but we stumbled upon this couch. We are going to get it. What do you think?

So, I overslept this morning. I got to work on time, but I didn't get to do any of my morning routine. I hate that. I am going to feel off all day now. Anyway, as a result of this, I forgot my camera again today. I have fun pictures of the icy weekend. I will post as soon as I remember my camera.

Thank goodness it is Friday. Jr is off work tonight and we don't have Andrew for the first time in a long time. What is everyone doing? JR wants to go bowling. Anyone interested? Any other fun ideas? We should hang out tonight.

Ok, that last post was a little mushy. So to counteract that, here is a picture of my new heroes. The USA Women's Hockey Team is frickin awesome. They are kicking butt so far at the 2006 Olympics. They make me want to learn how to play and join the team for the next Olympics. It's too bad Arkansas only has one skating rink. Maybe, I'll move to Minnesota. Go USA!

I love Valentine's Day. Jr brought lunch to work. He also got me flowers, chocolate, and a locket. Awww. The cutest though, was Andrew. Jr took him shopping for a present for me and his mom. He got me the rose with the teddy bear. He picked it out all by himself. Isn't that cute?

Ok, so last night I went to career night at the Baptist Health School of Nursing. I am in the market for a new career and thought I would check this out. It sounds pretty cool. It sounds like something I would like to try. The only problem is that there is no way to go to this two year school and continue working at my job. They have no night courses. I don't know what to do. What do you guys think?

So, I am not feeling well today. Sunday marked one week of not smoking. Now my body seems to be trying to purge all of the bad stuff. I have been coughing and wheezing and generally feeling like crap. Damn you healing lungs.

If you haven't heard of Monkey-Shoe, let me explain. I had these monkey slippers. Tyson found these and decided to make them his girlfriends. Well, I don't know if you can tell but the lump of material on the left in this picture was Monkey-Shoe. Tyson likes it rough. Anyway, last night after we left Elizabeth's we stopped at Wal-Greens and bought Tyson a new Monkey-Shoe. He loves his new girlfriend. If it wasn't so gross, it would be sweet.
